About Dawn


I am English born and bred. I moved to America in 2004 and I live in Clayton, a small town in North Carolina. I love to cook, a leftover passion from my travelling days before kids. European food is especially important in my house, it is my children's link back to their roots.  

Living in the South has been a wonderful experience. I have learned so much about southern cooking and come to realize that it is not all fried chicken and biscuits (although I am rather partial to these myself).  

I am a fanatical recipe collector and my cupboards are overflowing with cookery books and magazines. I am not a classically trained chef, just a cook who has a passion. I test each recipe many times, tweaking it to perfection. I hope you enjoy them as much my family and I do.
